39 Clues: One False Note Review
The book 39 Clues: One False Note is kind of an okay book to read. The worst part in the book was the beginning of the book. It was boring, because they were talking about things that were not about the story. For example, they were talking about running out of money, because they have use most of it and have to do something to raise money. They were also talking about not to eat fish, because fresh fish are expensive, which have to do nothing with the story. “Do you know how much fresh fish cost? We’ve got to make our money last.” (Pg. 1) The funny thing about the book is that almost every team are rich and uses private jets to travel, but Amy and Dan don’t have any money and have to travel by train or airplane. It is also funny, because Amy and Dan are part of the most powerful family in the world, but they don’t have any money. The best part in the book was when they found out the second clue. They found out the clue by subtracting gateau with music. Gateau is a type of cake that has one layer of cream or fruits. In music the musical notes are A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. If you subtract the word gateau with A, B, C, D, E, F, and G you will have the letters T and U left and TU is the old chemical symbol for tungsten and wolfram is what they used to call tungsten. At last Amy and Dan understood that when Marie says, “Let them eat cake”, she wasn’t talking about the poor eating gateau, but it was a secret message telling Mozart what ingredient he needed to put in. It explains about them finding the clue in chapter 20. Isn’t that clever?? I think that this book is an okay book to read, but it is a little bit long and boring.
